Our Wedding

We met working alongside each other in 2023, but our love flourished a year later in front of the world’s biggest iceberg in Antarctica. We hadn’t spoke or knew about each other in a year and meeting again in 2024 felt especially different. Our first photo together was in front of A23, when Tara encouraged JuanSe to pose out in the cold. The magic of the ice sparked our relationship. Since then we have lived a life of many flights to be with each other. We invite you to fly too and celebrate our union in Colombia!

Hotel Playa Koralia

For arrival and departure - Feb 18 & 24. More of a typical resort hotel, close to Santa Marta city and airport. Use the room block link to book - if you want to stay longer you can email for additional nights.

Marriott Resort Playa Dormida Santa Marta

These are 3-4 star hotels however the area has many other options. We chose these due to location. You are of course welcome to stay anywhere and we understand if you cannot stay the entire week.

Where to Stay

We will do a group hike through the jungle to the best beach for swimming and snorkeling in the area. This will be all day event, with lunch in the beach.

Travel

Transportation - We will provide transport from the airport and venue from the hotels suggested.- rental cars and taxis are available Flights - You will need to fly to Bogota in Colombia to transfer to a short flight to Santa Marta. Unfortunately from Detroit this will involve 3 flights total each way (DTW-&gt;ATL-&gt;BOG-&gt;SMR). Due to long travel days, our first and last night (18th and 24th) will be at a hotel nearby the airport. Please plan to arrive by 10am on the 19th at the latest to meet the group transfer to venue area hotels. Flight home can be anytime in the morning on the 25th.

How to Get There

Your presence is the best gift you may give us. We appreciate the time and effort it will take to celebrate with us.
